Terms of booking

For open programmes, course fees must be paid in full two weeks in advance of the programme start date.

An invoice will be supplied upon booking. Payment can be made by BACS or by cheque.

Delegate substitutions can be accepted up to the course start date without penalty. If you wish to substitute a delegate after the course has commenced, then an additional ILM registration fee may be required on accredited programmes.

Cancellations within two weeks of the course start date will normally incur a fee of 50% of the full course cost (excluding ILM registration fees). If we are able to resell the place, then the cancellation fee will be waived. Delegates may transfer their booking to another course without penalty.

Cancellation of courses by Stepping Up Training

If we need to cancel or postpone a programme, then a minimum of one month’s notice will be given, and any fees paid will be refunded in full.

Attendance and Qualification criteria

For Level 3 Certificate qualifications, you will normally need to attend all taught.  If you have to miss a session for a good reason, we will support you in making this up via distance learning.

To achieve a qualification, you need to pass all the assessments. Your tutors will provide support and feedback to help you do this.  You can resubmit assignments if necessary. You are expected to act upon feedback provided before resubmitting a piece of work.

The copyright of course materials will remain with Felicity Dwyer and Maggie Piazza or their associates. Course notes should not be reproduced or distributed without the written permission of the copyright holders.
