I have been an independent consultant since 2003, and prior to that worked for the National Council for Voluntary Organisations on strategic skills development. My background is in the media and arts. I also spent 9 years as an assessor for the Investing in Volunteers quality standard.  I design and deliver engaging management training for people working within the not-for-profit and small business sectors. I also coach individuals and groups to help them build confidence and skills and produce better results. I am passionate about the value of good management because of the positive impact it has on individuals and organisations.

My qualifications include an NVQ Level 4 in Management, the CIPD’s Certificate in Training Practice and an Advanced Coaching Skills certificate from City University. I am a Member of the Chartered Management Institute. I am also a licensed Firework career coach with an independent coaching practice called The Heart of Work.
