Level 3 Programme Overview

Manager The ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management covers the essential skills required of a manager.

It’s ideal if you are new to management, or if you’ve been a manager for a while but haven’t completed a structured training programme to help you in your role.

Programme Content and Structure

The ILM Level 3 Award requires completion of a minimum of 4 unit credits.

You can select the modules most relevant to you.

  • Module 1: Leading and motivating a team effectively (2 credits)
  • Module 2: Solving problems and making decisions (2 credits)
  • Module 3: Understanding organising and delegating in the workplace (1 credit)
  • Module 4: Understanding performance management (2 credits)

How much does the programme cost?

How long does the programme take?

Typically, the Award takes between 6 and 12 months to complete. But this is flexible and depends on how much time you have available.

The ILM allows a maximum of three years from date of registration, to complete your qualification.
